MBA Notes is a collection of lecture notes from my study in the full-time MBA program at the University of Texas at Austin. Some notes are taken directly from lectures, some are chapter summaries from textbooks, and some are notes from articles and cases studied. Subjects covered include:
- Business Law
- Case Analysis Tips and Tools
- Organizational Behavior
- Strategy (including various useful frameworks)
I believe a bright person with little background in business can benefit from these notes, but they will perhaps be best suited for those with a business background that wish to revisit some forgotten or rarely used concepts or for current or future MBA students.
I put a lot of effort into digitizing these notes and polishing them to a degree, but you shouldn’t expect to read this like a regular business book or textbook. Rather, there are a lot of bullet point lists, some tables, some formulae, and occasional images. I have tried to make the formatting more or less consistent, but differences in style (bold versus underlining versus italics, abbreviations used, etc.) do exist and some notes are more comprehensive than others.
Most of the content comes directly from my study notes, but occasionally I have included something valuable found online, including notes taken from professors in different MBA programs. Any errors in content, accuracy, or presentation are entirely my own and should not be attributed to the original source.
